Residents Who Have Tested Positive
All provincial Health Services act under rigorous protocols before sending an individual home who has tested positive.
Each situation is assessed by doctors. The individual’s living conditions and exposure to other people are always taken into consideration.
The doctors then decides on the right course of action for the individual and those around them. Positive cases that have been sent home are provided with very strict guidelines on how to go about enacting and sustaining their self-isolation. Those guidelines are designed to protect the individual and the broader public.
